A lot of people wish to travel to Canada for their masters or undergraduate studies, but they tend to fail to make the necessary inquiries about the school, its location, opportunities for international students, the payment plan, and getting a job after the program.
My article today would be on a payment plan for international students.
Now, in case you do not know, each school in Canada have their payment policy. Some would require you to make a deposit before coming to Canada, some would not.
What most of them have in common is asking for your tuition fee almost immediately when you get to Canada while some would give you the opportunity to pay in two installments.
That is why I always advise students to ensure they read about the school before making an application. Check if their tuition fee payment plan is okay for you and if there's any scholarship (for those interested in one), job opportunity, and the school reputation.
If you are going to Canada for graduate study, kindly note that most schools will not allow you to spread your tuition payment. They'd expect you to either transfer the money to them before getting your visa or be expected to pay them when you arrived at the school before enrolment.
However, below schools still have a good tuition payment plan where you can spread your tuition fee for up to six installments depending on the school and pay little by little.
Meanwhile, the schools require an application fee for the installment payment. This fee is different from the normal admission application fee. You pay this fee each time you apply for the spread payment.
The schools are:
University of Northern British Columbia
Kindly click on each school for more information about the installment payment.
I will advise that you still get in touch with the school to be sure of the tuition fee spread payment before you begin your application.
If you are interested in a school not listed here, you can still get in touch with the school for their payment plan. All you have to do is to send them an email of inquiry. No harm in trying.
Best of Luck.
Sammy.
